My Favorite Music Artists: A Glimpse Into My Soundscape 🎧🌸

Hello deer, this is Seri 🌸

After talking about my favorite movies and animes, I want to talk about my favorite music artists.

Music has always been a gentle refuge for me like a soft place to rest my heart when the world feels too loud. Each melody I love carries memories, colors, and emotions I can’t always put into words. Today, I wanted to open a little window into my soundscape by sharing some of my favorite music artists from around the world.

I didn't write all of them because I like many artists.

My Main Inspirations 🎧🌸

At the center of my musical world, you’ll find four names that have shaped me in different ways:

Kim Taeyeon, Adele, Yorushika, and Taylor Swift,

Taeyeon’s voice feels like moonlight, pure, emotional, and strong in its vulnerability.

Adele wraps me in powerful nostalgia, while Yorushika’s songs awaken something poetic and fleeting inside me, like a memory from another life. Taylor Swift, with her storytelling and changing eras, reminds me that growing up is a beautiful, messy journey.

Japanese Artists I Love 🎧🌸

Japanese music has always stirred something delicate in me. I love Yorushika most of all, their music feels like longing and sunlight passing through leaves. I also listen to RADWIMPS, especially because their sound brings me back to anime memories. Perfume brings sparkle and movement, while Masawo is a recent discovery whose gentleness has found a space in my playlists.

Western Artists 🎧🌸

Besides Adele and Taylor, I often return to Sia when I need to feel bold and raw. Lana Del Rey comes and goes in my world like a drifting dream. And when I need soft piano moments to write or rest, I listen to Jurrivh, whose music feels like a rainy window in a quiet room.

Korean Artists and My K-pop Era 🎧🌸

From 2014 to 2021, I was deeply in love with K-pop. My heart especially belongs to Girls' Generation, Mamamoo, Apink, SHINee, and GOT7. Each of these groups shaped parts of who I was during that time. The energy, the performances, and the emotional connection I had with these artists felt like a world of its own.

My Favorite Genre: Indie Folk 🎧🌸

Lately, I feel most at peace with indie folk. There’s something healing about acoustic guitars, soft vocals, and lyrics that feel handwritten. Indie folk feels like a walk in the woods, a cup of tea on the balcony, or a warm hug when you didn’t know you needed one.

If you listen closely to the songs I love, you might hear pieces of my soul in them.

Maybe you'll even find a song or two that speaks to yours. What artists live in your heart lately?

With softness,

*\~ a girl with music in her dreams \~* 🌷
