Hello deer, this is Seri 🌸
Some stories never leave you. They gently wrap around your memories and quietly stay, like the scent of flowers after spring rain.
After sharing my favorite anime worlds in Part 1, I realized how many other stories-through films and dramas-have shaped my imagination, my emotions, and even my way of loving.
You can read the part 1 here :
At first, it started with five very different universes that felt like home to me in different ways:
Attack on Titan, Naruto, The Hunger Games, Ghiblis and… Tinker Bell.
Yes, I know they don’t seem to go together, but maybe that’s what makes it so me.
A world of contradictions, where action meets tenderness, fantasy flirts with rebellion, and softness hides beneath strength.
📺 Here are a few of the stories I cherish the most:
Dramas that stayed in my heart:
-🎞️ To the Beautiful You — a light and heart-fluttering story that I watched with a smile, yet left a sweet ache.
- 🎞️ Go Back Couple — a tearful and nostalgic reminder that love can heal even across time.
- 🎞️ Secret Unrequited Love — quiet, painful, and so deeply romantic it still echoes in me.
📺 I also loved :
🎞️ School 2015: Who Are You – a haunting and emotional dive into identity, loneliness, and the desperate longing to be remembered.
🎞️ Just Between Lovers – a slow and tender journey where two broken souls find healing in each other's quiet presence.
🎞️ I’m Not a Robot – a whimsical tale of love blooming between isolation and connection, where even a machine can teach the heart to trust again.
🎞️ Mischievous Kiss: Love in Tokyo – a soft, clumsy, and sweet romance that shows how love often grows from persistence and innocence.
🎞️ When One Day I Will Sleep – a short but touching whisper from the afterlife, where unfinished love lingers between memory and goodbye.
🎞️ Angel’s Last Mission: Love – an ethereal love story where destiny and devotion dance between heaven and earth.
🎞️ I Don’t Love You Yet – a gentle, realistic love that patiently waits in the silence of friendship until the heart is ready to listen.
📺Movies I could watch again and again:
Generally, I love Disney and Ghibli movies.
- Rapunzel (Tangled)— for the dreamers who long for freedom and warmth.
- Tinker Bell (almost all the movies) — delicate, magical, and filled with quiet courage.
- The Hunger Games — a bold, raw world where hope and resistance bloom like fire.
- Brave — because sometimes, finding your own path is the real magic.
- Arrietty — soft, small adventures that speak in whispers.
- The Boy and the Beast — a story of belonging, growth, and bonds formed in unexpected ways.
Aside from Ghibli, that I really love, I also watched most movies from Makoto Shinkai and Mamoru Hosoda.
Makoto Shinkai : Your name, 5 centimeters per second, The garden of words etc. His animations are stunning
Mamoru Hosoda : Wolf Children, The Boy and the Beast, Mirai etc....
📺 And my forever favorite cartoon?
Totally Spies.
Even after all these years, I’ve never gotten tired of it. I still feel the same excitement and fun as when I first watched it.
Conclusion:
In the end, the stories we love say something about who we are and who we dream of becoming. I carry these worlds with me like little fireflies glowing in my chest.
Each of them gave me something, a feeling, a hope, a reflection.
And maybe… that’s the magic of stories.
